The famous form of recreation in the Philippines is Videoke. It doesn’t matter if you have a golden voice or not but it’s for everyone who just wanted to sing. At the same time, it’s a good way of spending quality time with your family, friends or colleagues. Last Saturday, September 13, 2009, our team from PhilWebServices Global Solutions Inc. headed to Cassanova Bar at Crown Regency to have some Videoke Nights Fever.
The HR Department, organized a karaoke challenge and each member is required to select a song. Some felt nervous because they will be singing infront of a crowd and they are not that confident. There are also others who truly gave their best in singing and showed a great performance.

A new friendship was born between the employees of PhilWebServices Global Solutions Inc. and the special children of Adam-Jennie Foundation in a one memorable event called, “Being a Foster Friend For A Day”. It happened last Saturday, August 22, 2009 in Jollibee A.S. Fortuna Mandaue, Cebu branch. This is our little way of reaching out to these kids.
We surprised the kids through our simple yet entertaining presentations that brought constant flow of laughter and happiness not just to the kids but to our colleagues as well. The dedicated team gracefully danced the hitsong “Nobody” by Wondergirls while the Per Project team offered a song accompanied with actions. The song was, “I Had A Dream” popularized by Westlife. There were no dull moments in spending time with the kids and as we look into their genuine smiles, there’s a feeling of gratitude that in our own modest way, we gave joy to them.

PhilWebServices Global Solutions Inc. celebrates its another Team Building Activity last Saturday, June 20, 2009 in Phat Thursday, Banilad Cebu along with a theme of “Sportsmanship and Camaraderie”.
There was a little tournament that day and all participants chose a game in which they are good at. The games were, billiards, darts, chess, nintendo wii (for boxing) and xbox game (for racing). Whoever tops on each category were declared as winners, 1st-2nd-3rd. Each game was exciting. Members are so cooperative in the games and are so eager to defeat their rival. It was indeed a friendly competition and everyone just had a good time. Aside from the fun games, there are also learnings that were obtained.

Team Building Activities are usually done to help develop a strong interpersonal relationships between team or simply to bond the team together. Through this activity, each member of the team is encourage to cooperate and to participate in the team’s workforce, in interacting and integrating skills into a united effort wherein every member’s goal achievement is connected to the greater whole team goal achievement.
The first ever Team Building Activity of PhilWebServices Global Solutions Inc with its theme “Trust, Communication and Teamwork” happened last Saturday, May 23, 2009. It took place at the rooftop of the company’s building. All employees were gathered that night and delightful food were prepared. Different activities were provided as well by the Human Resource (HR) department. Activities such as, the Trust Walk, the Minefield and the Blind Polygon. These activities are align on the said theme.
